RLConsulting welcome Director of Legal Projects at the IBA

RLConsulting are pleased to welcome their latest member Sara Carnegie to the team.

Sara Carnegie is the Director of Legal Projects at the International Bar Association (IBA). In the role she leads a team of lawyers working on a range of projects within the international legal community, working with members and external stakeholders including the United Nations (notably the UNODC), the Organisation for Economic Co-Operation and Development (OECD), World Bank and European Union institutions.

This work includes international legal projects on Anti-Corruption, Judicial Integrity, Cybersecurity, Whistleblowing, Modern Slavery, Rule of Law, Bullying and Sexual Harassment, Gender Equality and Mental Wellbeing.

An employed barrister with over 20 years’ experience working within the criminal justice system, she has spent the majority of her career working with the public sector in collaboration with government ministers, officials, the senior judiciary and law enforcement on a range of justice issues. She has led legal teams for two high profile public inquiries (the Baha Mousa Inquiry and Detainee Inquiry) and her immediate past role was Director of Strategic Policy for the CPS in England and Wales.

RLConsulting is a new initiative led by Dame Linda Dobbs providing consulting services to law firms, governments, NGOs, corporations and institutions.
